Want to improve your golf game? Learn the ultimate golf warm-up from Arlen Bento Jr.
This ultimate golf warm-up has been taught by Coach Arlen Bento Jr. for many years and it has helped developed many highly skilled players including NCAA record holders, NCAA champions, Florida State Champions as well as some of the Top Junior Golf Golfers in the State of Florida.
Start with putting, chipping, pitching then range:
- Putting: 3ft, 5ft, 10-20-30ft putting (Groups of 10 putts)
- Chipping: 30-40ft chipping (Groups of 10 chips)
- Pitching: 30-40ft pitching (Groups of 10 pitches)
Range:
“Tiger Woods” warm-up with Pitching Wedge (PW), use a narrow stance small swing #1 with focus on turning your hips, right hip goes back in the backswing, left hip goes back in the downswing and ball ground contact, you should have a small divot on every shot after the ball strike,
then use a little wider stance middle swing #2 with focus on your hips, keeping you left is straight and firm,
then use a full stance and full swing, make sure to use your full turn, get your back to target and the start your downswing with your right knee to the ball before impact keeping the back of your trail hand at the target, keep the back of the hand square through impact no flipping. (Groups of 10 shots)
“Swing Ladder” Full Swing on the range use your alignment sticks or a club, start with full swing Pitching Wedge, then use your Mid Iron (7iron), then use your Long Iron/Hybrid (4 iron or 4 hybrids), then use your Fairway Wood (5 wood), then your Driver. (Groups of 5 shots)
Use your Toe Drill if needed, use your Table Top Drill if needed for your driver, watch your stance size and ball position as you change clubs.
If you have time, practice with 25-yard, 50-yard, 75-yard shots, then get in some bunker shots & lob shots. (Groups of 10 shots)
